Has anyone already tested (or have the circumstances to test) whether a Construct Mechanisms work order might go to a forge?  I don't want to waste rare metal on making mechanisms, but the manager makes it SO much faster to queue them.  Gatherer818 18:50, 24 August 2012 (UTC)

:It will not - the "Construct Mechanisms" work order makes them out of stone. In fact, even if you somehow placed a work order to forge metal mechanisms, the game would still add them to a mechanic's workshop (where it will use coal for fuel). Honestly, though, you could have figured this out in 5 minutes by just trying it yourself - forbid all of your stone and add a work order, and the job will cancel due to needing non-economic hard stone. --Quietust 22:24, 24 August 2012 (UTC)

::Ah, right, I always forget you can mass-forbid all of an item type.  Sorry.  Thanks for the answer.  Gatherer818 23:02, 24 August 2012 (UTC)
