This article is about an older version of DF. |
Little is known about the famed pearl. Its existence is shrouded in myths. The creature definitions for the mussel and oyster indicate that they leave pearls, but dwarves cannot acquire them (due to the inability to embark near an ocean) and other civilizations cannot harvest them either (because they are [NOT_BUTCHERABLE]
).
It is currently unknown to what stockpile pearls would go and where they show up in the z-stocks menu.
Some dwarves can have a preference for "pearls" (not belonging to any creature in particular), but there is no way to satisfy it.
