- A huge monster in the form of a deer.
Despite their large size, giant deer are usually rather harmless, unless a dwarf ends up getting them cornered. They can be tamed, and have a decent pet value of 500 like most giant animals, but they need a large pasture to survive, and won't be useful for fortress defense.
