Has anyone else tried to use the minecart track detailed in this article?  It doesn't seem to work for me.  At 4/7, carts stop early before the first impulse ramp.  There aren't very explicit instructions for (a) track stop(s) and I wonder if settings are  one issue?  If i can work out how to fix it, I'll make some edits.  2wizard (talk) 05:58, 12 September 2014 (UTC)

:I currently have a swimming track in v0.40.11 with 9 tiles of water before the first impulse ramp and it works reliably, though the minecart does stall out if it hits a creature along the way. The design, as shown, does not use any track stops; if you built a track stop instead of carving tracks on the start tile then the launch ramp may not be connected, leaving your minecart to stall whenever the initial push wears out. Also, carving tracks on ramps is a bit fiddly to designate; I use constructed track ramps instead (they allow you to directly select which directions the track connects).--Loci (talk) 22:55, 12 September 2014 (UTC)
