− | ::I decided to make a fortress just to test this. I have a well 13 z-levels deep, with water only on that bottom Z-Level. Because this fortress was made JUST for this, and I've not done anything else, I can't really build a well tower to fully test it, as there's three alligators hanging out outside my fortress doors. When I get them out of the way and build the super-tall well, I'll let you know if there's an achievable limit.
