A lurker of the depths, found in the cave river. Dangerous and aggressive, giant toads will pursue and attack any dwarves they chance upon. Capable of inflicting heavy casualties amongst unarmed civilians, and have been known to withstand multiple stone-fall traps. Treat with caution.
They are exotic pets, so you cannot tame them until you have a dungeon master. Strangely, they do not breed, unlike the cave crocodiles they often share their river homes with.
